WooLinker.com Plugin Licensing Terms

1. Introduction

This License Policy explains how software licenses for WooLinker.com plugins work.

All products sold on WooLinker.com are digital software products distributed under license. Purchasing a plugin grants a right to use the software under specific conditions — not ownership of the software.

This policy complements our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.

2. License Type

WooLinker.com currently offers one license model:

Single Website License

Each purchase allows installation and use of the plugin on:

  • one (1) WordPress installation
  • one (1) production/live domain

Each additional website requires a separate license purchase.

3. Development, Staging, and Migration

Temporary use on development, staging, or local environments is allowed provided:

  • the plugin remains licensed for only one production domain
  • staging environments are not publicly accessible commercial sites

Domain migration is permitted when:

  • the plugin is removed from the previous domain; and
  • the transfer is legitimate (e.g., redesign, domain change).

Repeated abusive transfers may lead to license suspension.

4. License Validation

Some plugins may require license validation for:

  • automatic updates
  • support access
  • premium functionality

License validation may involve transmitting:

  • the licensed domain
  • the license key

No telemetry or behavioral tracking is collected through the plugins.

5. Updates and Support

Depending on the product purchased, your license may include:

  • software updates
  • security patches
  • compatibility updates
  • technical support

The duration of updates and support is specified on the product page at the time of purchase.

If a license expires:

  • the plugin may continue functioning;
  • updates and support may no longer be available.

6. Permitted Use

You may:

  • install the plugin on the licensed domain;
  • customize it for internal business use;
  • use it in commercial or personal projects within license limits.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • resell or redistribute plugin files;

  • distribute modified versions commercially;

9. License Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate licenses if:

  • unauthorized redistribution occurs;
  • multiple-site use exceeds license scope;
  • fraudulent or abusive behavior is detected;
  • Terms or licensing rules are violated.

Termination may result in loss of:

  • updates
  • downloads
  • support access.

10. Technical Limitations and Compatibility

Plugins are developed according to WordPress and WooCommerce public APIs and best practices.

However, compatibility cannot be guaranteed with:

  • all third-party plugins or themes;
  • unsupported PHP or WordPress versions;
  • custom server configurations.

Users are responsible for maintaining backups before installation or updates.

11. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • plugins are provided “as is”;
  • we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, business interruption, or compatibility issues caused by third-party software.

This does not affect mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
